Through a distribution agreement with Panel Technique (South Africa), Energy Power Consulting Engineers now offers type-tested and customized Motor Control Centres (MCC's). These products are manufactured to a very high quality, using the latest technology in CNC machinery and fully compliant to IEC 61439-1 accreditation. The distribution agreement covers the Australasian region and provides an opportunity to deliver quality products at extremely competitive prices. Energy Power Consulting Engineers has successfully delivered type-tested MCC's to our valued customers both in Australia and Fiji with excellent results.
Our preference is to use trusted and reliable suppliers with whom we have long established relationships and include ABB, Rittal, Phoenix Contact, Heinzmann Australia, Schneider Electric, Pepperl and Fuchs, Rockwell and WEG Australia to name a few.
We have very close ties with Heinzmann Australia, as Authorized Systems Integrator and agents to sell Si-TEC Xtend products. This partnership ensures our team have up-to-date training, access to new products and are able consult at the highest level with OEM’s and power generators.
In early 2000 the company established close ties with Basler Electric and were appointed as an Authorised System Integrator. We continue to support and sell these products to our customers and other OEM’s.
Our long-established partnership with Schneider Electric has enabled our solutions to be competitive when providing manufactured solutions to our customers due to excellent product discounts available on a range of products.
We follow stringent quality control from initial contact with customers through quoting, job control, design, procurement, manufacturing, acceptance testing, installation and commissioning. We are currently undergoing a company process review for ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Our company, Dawson Engineering (QLD) Pty Ltd trading as Energy Power Consulting Engineers, was incorporated in 2006 and is a privately-owned Electrical Engineering company located in Cleveland, Queensland (Qld) Australia. Energy Power Consulting Engineers services customers throughout Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Africa, Belize and Jamaica.
With a team of experienced and innovative Electrical Engineers, we work predominantly in the sugar and paper/pulp industries where we have earned a reputation for delivering quality solutions for power generation systems and other electrification projects.
Our manufacturing facility is fully equipped to undertake any size project in our custom panel solutions, panel wiring and assembly, panel testing or Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
